Well, I just bought a record of a new band called Diablerie -"Seraphyde" (I think it´s their first full album) and it´s a mix of Black/Elektro Metal, check it out!!! not Death but you should give it a try.

Cheers

Have you heard Pestilence's album "Spheres"? It has a little of that techno death type thing. On the album before that one, "Testimony of the Ancients" (which is really great), a Cynic bass player (not the one on Focus) played.

I would call Opeth pretty technical too, in their own way.

TECHNICAL Death Metal... kinda a thin blurry line that can encompass a few genres, but stuff I would HIGHLY reccomend:

Cryptopsy
Immolation
Disgorge
Iniquity
Suffocation
Exhumed
Necrophagist
Misery-Index
Nile
Morbid Angel

Any of that is pretty damned technical...
