This was certainly a challenge to say the least, since it was my first BM client. I was so dubious at every single step of the way, since the only BM I'd ever heard was the sort of shit that sounds like it's been recorded with a potato.

Drums were recorded back in June of last year so my memory is a little hazy on mics, but it was something like;
57 on snare
57 on all toms (2 rack, 2 floor)
Rode NT5 on overheads
Beta 52 on kick
sE Voodoo on mono room (placed around kick-height to get the 'thump' of the room)
sE5 stereo pair aimed at the kit from about 5ft away
Can't remember what room mics we used in the end but it was a pair of LDC's in the far corners of the room for the natural reverb.

Guitars;
ProCo Ratt > 3ch Triple Rectifier + Peavey 6505+ > Zilla Fatboy + Sunn 4x12 > various delays and reverb in Cubase

Bass (the only thing not real unfortunately):
Ratt > Ampeg SVX > Impulses

Vocals were recorded by the band at home, not sure what was used there, sorry!

Anyway, I really enjoyed working on this and thing it turned out great. Not my cup of tea at all usually but I really dug this (even if the tracks were all over 13 minutes long :lol:)

Cheers!
