Tesla Reel II

I'm sorry.. but I think the lead guitarist in this song is very underrated for that type of music and if he/they had come out in the 70's and not the 1980's/90's he could of been considered up there with the 70's greats like Page... agree or not? ... I saw them live back in the late 80's opening for Poison and he kicked ass... i have it on tape somewhere.. me and my friend snuck in a tape recorder hehehe

i need to get this. the first reel was great. i wish the 2nd reel came in a cd single looking case so it could be cheaper and you can put it in the same case that the first reel was in

I think it is interesting that so many band's are getting a resurgence by rocking other peoples hits. Tesla was one of the first, so no harm done here, but it is getting ridiculous.

The first Reel was decent though. I wonder if they are going to break down and offer Reel 2 through full distro since it was originally supposed to be just a special thing available with concert ticket purchase and also available with an issue of Classic Rock in the UK.

they already have. it was released at the end of september

Frank Hannon is a monster guitar player. He is VERY underrated, but he isn't completely unnoticed. He has a solo release out (which I don't have unfortunately) as well. In fact, Tommy Skeoch (the other guitar player in Tesla) isn't bad by his own right. Tesla is a great band. I saw them open for Ratt, I think. They only had the one release, "Mechanical Resonance" and they blew Ratt off the stage and Ratt weren't slouches either.

Just picked it up for 9.99 @ Best Buy over the weekend. I love Tesla. Saw them open for DLR's first solo tour and was HUGELY impressed. VH was notorious for having crappy opening acts, so they REALLY surprised me. Picked up MR shortly after the show...

You know I saw them for the first time opening for Motley Crue on the Dr. Feelgood tour, they played 45 minutes. Tommy was drunk off his ass, Jeff was also drunk as a skunk, despite the two tankards they put on a great show... It ended with Tommy callapsing and getting carried off...
