TESTAMENT guitarist Alex Skolnick has revealed to Music & Art Interviews that his band "just signed on to a North American tour that I can't talk about yet, but it will be one of the biggest tours of the year." It is rumored that the trek Alex is referring to will be headlined by SLAYER, but this has not yet been confirmed. TESTAMENT and SLAYER previously toured North America together in early 2016. Also appearing on the bill were British extreme metal pioneers CARCASS. TESTAMENT is still touring in support of its critically acclaimed album "Brotherhood Of The Snake", which came out in October 2016 via Nuclear Blast. The cover was once again created by renowned artist Eliran Kantor, who also handled the art for the TESTAMENT's previous album, 2012's "Dark Roots Of Earth", and worked with bands like HATEBREED, SOULFLY and KATAKLYSM in the past. "Brotherhood Of The Snake" was recorded under the watchful eyes of producer Juan Urteaga (EXODUS, HEATHEN, MACHINE HEAD), guitarist Eric Peterson and singer Chuck Billy and was mixed and mastered by British metal producer Andy Sneap (ACCEPT, ARCH ENEMY, CRADLE OF FILTH, KREATOR, MACHINE HEAD, MEGADETH). Billy told Metal Wani that TESTAMENT's goal is to release the follow-up to "Brotherhood Of The Snake" in 2018.
