TESTAMENT w/ OVERKILL, FLOTSAM!!! - US Tour

Testament will headline a U.S. tour in early-2013 with support from Overkill, Flotsam and Jetsam, and 4Arm.

"It's a thrill to announce our upcoming dates with Overkill and Flotsam and Jetsam," says guitarist Alex Skolnick. "It's a tour that brings together three different metal bands from three different regions: West Coast, East Coast and Southwest. All three bands sound very different from one another yet are highly compatible. All have been around the block (and the world) a few times and all have managed to keep a sound that feels current. This tour will be a 'must see' for fans who remember the early days of thrash/speed metal as well as those whose age is younger than the genre itself."

This is a great touring package and a genius move on behalf of Testament's management, in light of the disappointing European touring 'lineup'. Can't remember exactly who the bands were that they took out, but I know they were not in the least compatible with Testament. This lineup unites the very different sounding east/west coast Thrash styles plus supports the relatively overlooked and underappreciated Flotsam & Jetsam, who definitely need a 'boost' in their careers as a band. I did hear a few tracks from the upcoming album "Ugly Noise", and all I have to say is...I hope what I heard were demo's

There's another group on the bill, 4ARM (select shows), and those guys rip it up

me too. I may skip out on Testament since i've seen them about 20 times, one time being only a month or so ago, and I have a 2 hour drive home.
Can't wait to see Overkill and expecially Flots again

I feel ya! We usually have to drive 90 minutes in either direction to get to these shows. We don't have venue for shows this size in Greensboro.

I'm going from Maine to Mass, probably gonna end up flying in. I'm not dealing with a 3hr drive...
