since these polls came into existence, every president has had to deal with low numbers, at some point in their terms.
the difference in Bush and someone like, say, Bill Clinton, is that Bush doesnt run his administration based on poll numbers. he does the job he feels he has to do, regardless of whether it's going to make him Mr. Popularity or not.
Clinton, on the other hand, was notorious for sending out pollsters to see what the people wanted, and basing his decisions [not always wisely] on that.
as far as the accuracy of the polls, who are they talking to? how many are they surveying?
too many variables could effect the way these polls are read and nothing is changed.
Bush still won. he's still the prez.
to keep crying over it is just annoying.
