Back in Flushing, NY for good!
ok, these 2 new songs say something to me.
STONE STONE MOTHERFUCKING STONE! The riffs, the aggression of Stone. They have that feel to me.
With this being the case in my mind,Roope MUST stay in COB. Too valuable an asset, and with these new songs sounding like this...he could be the element that keeps COB aggressive and kicking ass for years to come.

So if Roope stays, Bodom was sound like a different band, and that is good?
Nah, I think Roope although an amazing guitarist doesn't really belong in Bodom,
I think I heard Alexi say it would be "pointless" to have him permenantly, because
of Sinergy. I hope they find a new replacement who has the talent and spirit of Roope...but just not Roope himself.

I agree !
I love Roope but I don't want him to stay in CoB ...

Seriously, I have a feeling that right before the new album goes into recording, Alexander will get his priorities together, and realize that he can, in fact, handle touring and the musician lifestyle, and ask to join the group. I really believe that'll happen. But it doesn't matter to me, cause Roope is my fuckin idol.

I'm starting to wonder if Sinergy is even going to stay alive.

I think Bodom where alot more melodic with Ale in the band. But they might have just been going for something different purposely for this EP.

No offence, but I think his kid is a bigger priority than the band. thats my
opinion anyway.

roope should stay and ther shall be 2 lead guitarits in bodom! that would be the ultimate band!

I havnt heard him live or anything but he might help tidy up Bodom solos, and stuff, Alexi always seems to rush them abit, at least at the begining of shows...

I'd rather Sinergy stay together and Bodom get a new guitarist. :)
Even if Sinergy did split, which I hope they dont, I'd still prefer
to see somebody who plays more like Ale...

I have mixed opinions about Roope in Bodom. I have about as much respect for him as I do Alexi (which is a hell of a lot). But I don't think he fits Bodom. I was watching the Tuska vid with Ale playing, and he just seem to fit. Difficult to explain.

If Roope does stay I would like him to start having a bit more input with the writing process. I very much doubt Alexi could ignore some of the great stuff he could come up with. If Roope is still into melodic/classical playing then he may also being to influence Alexi a bit, get him playing in the style of previous years, and maybe even some some duel solo's like in Sinergy.

Speaking of Sinergy, like Chainek. Im also very concerned about the band. I hope the band members will shed some light on the situation of the band soon.
