ohh shit, new Amenta, just read the article and be excited.
This truly is a great band, I highly recommend everyone check our their music.
Although a lot of bands are putting out free music these days, few are of this quality.

What's up with with releasing a new album with only 5 new tracks and 100 remixes though?

Edit: Missed the bit about it being free. In that case the 5 new tracks seams like a pretty good deal.

It's weird I'm really not an industrial fan at all, but they pull it off really well.

It is a weird idea, I think it was originally just supposed to be an ep
So I suppose they just wanted to bulk it up a bit?

for me personally i consider it the best metal album ever that has been released for free

only downside is that most of the material isn't new

Yep, definitely.

The re recorded versions of the songs from Occasus aren't as good as the originals imo though, the originals had FAR more velocity to them.
A couple of curveballs thrown in there though, like "Enigmatize".
The new material is very filmic, I think these guys have it in them to do some really great sci-fi soundtracks.
