Well...if you are a drummer, you better know what this means. The point is: I can't seem to teach it. Anyone here that could give me some advice on how to start?

right. i think there is more to it than that. haha.
i'm not a drummer, but in my old band we tought our drummer to blast....listen to good drummer, and try watching them at shows. like derek roddy, nick barker, those guys. or vids if you got em. sorry. not much help. learn to pick out the different blast patterns. listen to cannibal corpse, then emperor, and then hate eternal and krisiun.

Start off slower than the stuff on the CDs.....Those guys have had LOTS of practice. Alot of it depends on what type of blastbeat that you are doing......
In my band I use two different types of blast beat.
1)bass snare bass snare etc. hitting the hi hat or ride with the bass
2)snare bass snare bass etc. hitting the hi hat or ride with the snare
That's just how I do it. There are many ways to do it I'm sure

The only thing that's the problem now, is to play soooo daaaamn fast! But it will come...eventually.
