Badmotorfinger was one badass fucking album.

Sucks what happened to his voice though.

Apparently, Cornell heavily damaged his vocal cords and can only sing 'good' at specific times. What I was told is that when he's hitting notes and such, regardless if it's 2P.M. or 2A.M., he calls up the producer and tells him to meet him at the studio.

Supposedly, that's how he records his albums now. Though, he's been going through vocal training to try to get his vocal capabilities up to par once again.

I heard this from a friend of mine but didn't actually research it myself.

It happened in 1995 i think during a Superunknown tour...everyone was worried he wasnt gonna be able to sing again...i dunno what caused it..
I like audioslave but of course im just a big Cornell fangirl..
