So, pre-orders have been coming in.



The audio for that video sounds practically mono. It's one of a couple leaks that sound terrible, but the real audio sounds much better!

What do you guys think about this, song-wise and production-wise?

First thing I notice about the production is the weird vocals. Growls/screams sound unusual but I can't place my finger on what makes me think that.
Song-wise, they have a lot less beautiful parts and a lot more weird parts. Makes me a little sad but this album is still epic.

Of course I want to know the guitar and bass chain from the pickups all the way to the mic pre.

I do believe they used they Kemper on this album and switched to using 7 string guitars. Their live rigs are 2 channel dual/triple rec's into Mesa 4x12s, IIRC.

But yeah, I would also like to know more about their rigs if you could ask them.

That's definitely just the song(s) on youtube. It sounds great.
