FUNERAL (Nor): Tristesse + Live in Modum 1995 Official 2LP set (CRYPT 27)
For the first time ever on glorious vinyl, we will be presenting the band's early work starting with the landmark "Tristesse". Having originally released as a demo in 1993 and then as a MCD on Wild Rags Records in 1994, their debut masterpiece helped forge the "Funeral Doom" genre as we know it. Included with this masterpiece is a second LP with a soundboard recorded live show from 1995.
Presented on 2 x 180 gram heavy vinyl LPs, strictly limited to a one time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies - 200 of which will be black vinyl and 300 of which will be grey vinyl. These killer slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram reverse board gatefold jacket.
The LP jacket will feature the original Titien's "Entombment" cover art and layout from the wild rags CD as well as new extensive liner notes by Anders Eek and Olivier 'Zoltar' Badin, classic interviews, flyers and unpublished band photos.
Included in all 500 copies is a luxurious 24" x 36" (60.96 cm x 91.44 cm) poster of the Titien cover artwork.

The Crypt is proud to present the vinyl debut of Norway's Thou Shalt Suffer - Into the Woods of Belial on gatefold 2 LP. Thou Shalt Suffer needs no introduction, being a staple of the early Norwegian black metal scene.
Strictly limited to a one-time only pressing of 666 hand-numbered copies, 222 sets will be on 180 gram classic black vinyl, 222 on transparent blue with black splatter and 222 on silver with black splatter. These amazing slabs of wax will be presented in an amazing 350 gram, reverse board printed gatefold jacket with full UV varnish for a unique textured feel, and will feature the original cover art, unpublished band photos and and new liner notes by Samoth. Also included is a printed insert with classic flyers, interviews, reviews and band photos. Also exclusive to this set are two unreleased rehearsal tracks including one from Embryonic (pre-Thou Shalt Suffer).
Last, to top it all off, included in all copies is a huge, 24" x 36" poster of the original Paw Nielsen artwork.
Unfortunately due to the the higher than normal cost for the license and the special printing process, this LP set will be slightly more expensive than normal - but more than worth it!

The Crypt is proud to announce the complete discography from Sweden's ABHOTH featuring ex members of UTUMNO, GOD MACABRE, BOMBS OF HADES and AFFLICTED.
Abhoth were one of the first death metal bands in Sweden and formed in the town of Västerås in 1988 under the name Morbid Salvation Army. The original line-up included vocalist Joakim Bröms who left in 1990 to join Afflicted (ex-Afflicted Convulsion).
This 2 LP set features The Matter of Splatter - Demo 1989, Forever to be Vanished There In - Demo 1991, The Tide - EP 1992, Divine Orphan - Demo 1994 and unreleased demo / rehearsal tracks from 1990-91.
Strictly limited to a one-time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies, these classic tracks are spread over 2 x 180 gram heavy vinyl LPs: - 200 of which will be black vinyl and 300 of which will be white vinyl.
Both LPs come in a 350 gram sturdy, reverseboard printed gatefold jacket, complete with the original classic "The Tide" cover illustration by Paw Nielsen, rare band photos, cult interviews and new extensive liner notes by Jonas Stålhammar and Jörgen Kristensen.
