I think DNB is better than politics. Politics kicks ass but I love DNB. It really ties together as an album - it is complete... a true work of art.

this album is on my top 10 best albums of all time.

Honestly I believe this album to be the best concept album I've ever heard in my entire life. It is a true work of art and deserves to be in a museum of the arts somewhere along with a huge amount of research on the occult and an in depth explanation of the events surrounding it. It's a very real album and the lyrics are extremely profound. The subject matter is just so fantasticly depressing it's amazing. Also - for a thrash/power metal band to make a concept album is unreal, and for them to do it so well displays true talent as artists. Everything they do is amazing, they continue to amaze me as a band.

One of the things I love about this album is the way it starts. It sets the tone for the entire album - often this is done in great pieces of literature, placing you in the scene, forcing empathy. On the first track - Ophidian - you listen to someone die. It places the whole album in context by starting off saying "this album is about death and darkness". Truly profound, inspiring, and moving.

i would say it's my favorite 6 string album of theirs - I can't pick a favorite though
