This band started the symphonic revolution. It was THE first and pretty much only band of its time to integrate a small symphony into rock/pop group, and then it was a totally original idea.
Eldorado was, in my opinion, their best album. Three of their songs immediatly went on the "top ten" lists of radio, competing with the likes of Led Zeppelin and The Beatles.
All bands who use symphonic elements in their music should thank ELO for their contributions to the genre. They are really un-apeciated and should be given way more repsect around the UM community.
