As we have already announced we are releasing the new and highly anticipated album by Arcturus! The entities who make up the band Arcturus are true musical innovators, as their creativity and experimentation runs at endless plateaus! They have released some of the most influential albums in the scene, and the new one branches out in countless directions as it combines mesmerizing vocals in a gamut of theatrical/progressive/avant-garde/dark-art metal!
Release date is April 9th!

WINDS - Reflections of the I
Also on April 9th, we are releasing the debut full-length by WINDS. This supergroup, which includes members of Arcturus, Mayhem, Kovenant, Sensa Anima, Khold, etc., plays a seamless and most inspiring mix of classically oriented metal, fronted with clean vocals, dark progressive guitars, philharmonics, classical piano and floating synths. A spiral of dazzling melodies and intricate arrangements makes their music a truly superb sonic journey! Two of the members won a Norwegian Grammy Award in 2000 and 1999!

AGALLOCH - The Mantle
Agalloch is still in the studio and it seems that they will need a few more weeks until recording is completed. Early indication seems to foreshadow that "The Mantle" will be a phenomenal album. The music appears to draw from a lot more diverse references, most notably Pink Floyd and Godspeed You Black Emperor coming to mind!

After the very successful results of the mutual new Green Carnation release, and the fact that both labels commonly work on the more eclectic, artistic metal styles, they have decided to take it a step further and exclusively distribute and promote each other's releases in their respective territories. Thus, The End Records will be handling releases from both labels in North and South America and Prophecy will do the same in Europe.
Upcoming releases by Prophecy include: Ewigheim, Autumnblaze, Empyrium, Tenhi, Dornenreich reissues of the first two albums with bonus tracks.

Considered by the band as their most 'accessible' album this is still a highly complex mix of technical death and razor-sharp thrash, bringing to mind classic bands like Cynic and Atheist, and even newer ones like Scholomance and Cryptopsy. The band also pays their tribute to 70s music by covering a song by the progressive band Spark!
PALE FOREST - "Exit Mould"
Brand new album by this great female fronted sensational band from Norway. After 2 releases on VOW they have now signed to Listenable records and finally released their new album "Exit Mould". This was recorded with producer Jacob Hansen and similar to their countrymen, The 3rd & The Mortal, this offers an array of complex emotions and sweet melodies into their music.
