I ordered a refill fo ma drugz and the pharmacist (who pretty much acted like I was a moron for not knowing this) enlightened me that what I needed at the moment I can't get because they don't ship it anymore . Super great, so she said there was this other shit but I would need a new RX from the doc and today is sunday. I like breathing so this sucks so much ass.

"Albuterol Metered Dose Inhalers- (3/9/2006; GSK updated 6/28/2006, IVAX updated 7/12/2006, Albuterol metered dose inhalers, both HFA and CFC inhalers, are made by multiple manufacturers. Even though total albuterol supplies (HFA and CFC) are currently meeting market demand, supplies of HFA albuterol metered dose inhalers continue to increase relative to supplies of CFC inhalers. Therefore, HFA inhalers may need to be substituted for CFC inhalers as the shift towards increased HFA inhalers continues to occur. Please note CFC albuterol inhalers will be completely withdrawn from the market by December 31, 2008 -see http://www.fda.gov/cder/mdi/mdifaqs.htm for further information.

That would probably be because you didn't have an OHIP card. Our system is for Canadians. To get it for free, you'd have to marry one.



BTW, if the FDA were run by hippies, Pot would be legal. Unfortunately, the ************** industry owns most of the Congress & Senate... ....and unlike their products, Pot actually works. The dangerous thing to them is that you can grow it in your own backyard. So don't ever count on it being legal. It would cost the **************s billions in losses. Remember them clamping down on cheap Canadian prescription drugs imported into the States a few years ago? Some bullshit about "safety." Yeah, right. Canada has regular bouts with Cholera, Malaria, & Yellow Fever <intense sarcasm mode on> so of course our drugs aren't safe. More like "loss of profit."

True..I actually read a statement by a pharma lobbyist that said that prescription drug price control in the US (like exists in 99&#37; of the western world) would be catastrophic b/c currently US sales are singularly responsible for funding the drug research.
Basically, "if the US mandates lower prices we'll stop development." Nice.
 
Here is why I came to the conclusion that this is totally the liberal side o da goverment.

Who is the biggest fucking mouth about the enviroment? (he isn't conservative and is currently the biggest hippocrite mouth out there right now with his home consuming 40 times more energy than the average American house)

Why was this pulled from the market? Because it depletes the ozone layer? Come the fuck on this thing lets out way less CFCs than a can of those old spray paints etc...

So fuck em fuck em this is stupid end of story, I am going to be livid if the new shit costs more (the above prescription costs about $23 with no insurance).

I got the alternate prescription, witch according to the Dr. is the same shit just "CFC free" :Smug: (I seriously hate enviromentalists) at a wopping $66.99 :mad:.

You can argue this either way:

Asshole republicans making the generic no more and giving the money to the new pharmacutical company.

OR:

Douchbag democrates with there trying to make the enviroment "clean".
