We're pleased (and somewhat relieved) to finally have a definitive date and location for the album recording: the band will enter Foel Studio in Wales to record "The Noble Search" with Chris Fielding for 16 days in January next year.
This old analog studio was recently used by our friends in Primordial to record their latest album, as well as tons of classic bands in the last 30 years or so.
As for the album itself, expect an evolution of the ideas we first explored in 2005's "The Unclenching of Fists", branching out (as always) in some weird new directions and this time focusing a bit more on the overall atmosphere. The studio choice reflects that concern.
The material to be featured has been almost entirely written, so now it's just a matter of getting everything right and tight in the coming three months.
We don't have a label behind us right now, so it's impossible to pinpoint a release date for the album... hopefully sometime before May, but who knows?
We'll have some more info on the album soon.
