I love giant sandwiches. Just had myself the wonderfully delicious Banh mi, which is a Vietnamese concoction of pork, cilantro pickled carrots on a fresh baguette with various forms of dressing.

Wal-Mart premade sandwiches: big, cheap, bland.

Quizznos: Not big, and overrated.

Togos eh...

However, there's this place in the local WinCo called Leonardo's Pizza that serves hot grinders. They're huge and they rock.

OMG, I just finished my lunch of a giant sandwich myself!!

It's called "The Adin" and it's from this amazing NY-style deli in my office building.

Chunks of grilled chicken, Sautéed Onions, bell peppers, banana peppers and melted mozzarella on a wheat sub-roll.
Im oh-so-full now

I hate "big chain" sandwich places... only the local mom-pop places make
awesome sandwiches !

This place, 2 blocks from my house is THE BEST EVER,
plus, they have over 200 beers from all over the globe:

(and did I mention 10% of their income goes to the Lost Dog/ Stray Cat foundation? :) :) :) )

haha ;)

Next time, btw, you need a picture of your giant sandwich!!

This is close to what I had, but mine was bigger and on a different type of roll.

Yeah, so cheese steaks are disgusting, and Philly Cheez-Whiz specials are even more so.

I'll take a pita full of Shawarma-style meat and hummus over anything we call a sandwich in America any day.
