This is the 5th year for The Goregrowler's Ball Festival in San Antonio, TX. This is the fest with the weird name that you've probably heard of. Well for those of you who hate the name, or don't get it. Let me give you a brief history of it. My name is Aaron Mendiola, known as Goregrowler as a nickname, so I created Goregrowler Entertainment as my booking company name, which I have been booking great Metal shows in San Antonio for the past 4 years.
In 2007, when the fest first started, it was as simple as a local birthday show, as I turned 30, so I wanted to play a show with all my friends from other bands. It included performances by Severance (TX), Sarcolytic (TX), Disfigured (TX), and headlined by Devourment (TX).
Now the fest is a real fest, and no longer associated with my birthday. I am trying to make this fest the best fest South Texas has to offer.
