have you heard this album? Does anyone know what amps/cabs did they use?
And how could be achieved these fuckin' punching palmmutes?

Pretty rad album, i started a thread on this album early this year! But i found the songs to be pumping (overworked Master buss IMO)

i think it's a fucking cool album. machine usually uses a mesa of some sort i'm pretty sure

I don't know whether it's what they actually used or not since they have pretty much every awesome amp known to man in their studio, but the original album teaser video showed a deizel vh4, engl powerball (i think), peavey 5150II and a VHT Pitbull all stacked on top of each other. Probably a pointless post here really.

it was machine shop. i assumed machine mixed it cos it sounds more like a machine mix than a will mix

They're partial to the vh4. Will did it I believe. If you're referencing the the will v machine thing dicklan, it's probably because you didn't realize will had a lot to do with youngbloods.

Yeah will did this album. And the palm mute's coming out the way they did is all from how those guy's play. They are very precise player's. We actually just had a guy in the studio named matt who is such a tight guitar player that his playing sounded robotic. But it fit's the music. Anyways this is a great album for sure.

My band opened for them live i know one of them was running through an ENGL AND Axe Fx live but i'm not sure what AJ was using. Again no idea what they used in the studio i wish i would have asked AJ cuz i talked to him for like 10mins, they were the tightest band i have ever seen live
