New TEA PARTY cd. very good. At times it is very progressive(?), which is a bit strange, but hey! It's the tea party, it's supposed to be.

It's great.

It seems as though Jeff has a had HUGE problems with god since the last release, nearly every song is anti-religion.

You think the problems with God are coming now? What about good old Transmission? About abandonment, godlessness et.c.
However, since Triptych I've been detecting a sense of... Crowleyism, if not even Thelema in the music. Have you noticed the repeated use of Crowleyist terms? Such as "Love under will"? Found in Heaven Coming Down (Triptych) and "White Water Siren". Add to that the existentialist views of Transmission...
Seems to me ye olde buggers have decided to drop the drugs and look for inspiration in occult works instead. :)

What about good old Transmission?

I am MUCH more a fan of The Tea Party, Splendor Solis, and Edges of Twilight. There is MUCH more odd 'arabic' stuff on those.

Transmission is good, but i'm not too much a fan of the electronic elements that they brought in.

Seems to me ye olde buggers have decided to drop the drugs and look for inspiration in occult works instead.

...?

I guess that was aimed at someone other than me.
