You gals are playing in avery historic area in SF this Sunday. You'll be right in what was once teh epicenter for the bay arae Metal scene back in teh day. Boradway Studios use dto be called "The On Broadway" and had a lot of legendary Punk & Metal gigs. Next door is the old Mabauhay Gardnes and tehs trip club directly across teh street was teh one and only Stone (Linda's been there) which was the mainMetal cluba nd hang out of Metallica,Exodus,Death Angel oh Hell ALL OF US from the SF Scene!!
 
Can't wait for the 29th! Hit up a bunch of record stores, tattoo parlors, and smoke shops in the Est Bay with the flyers, so I hope a HUGE crowd awaits you ladies. :headbang:
 
Yeah the promter is stressed out about not enough people knowing about this gig. R U going to see Huntress at the Red House in Walnut Creek tomorrow? that's the only metal show happening this week. I might be going to that but let me know if you are.

Unfortunately, I'm out of the area tomorrow night, so no show tomorrow night for me. However, I've been sending out email blasts, Facebook blasts, and posting on my Raiders sites as well about this show. Gonna continue up until Sunday. Hopefully we can do enough damage. :headbang:

I went to the Sacramento (Orangevale) show on Friday night! My 1st IMs show in 5 or 6 years. Last time I saw IMs Sara and Elizabeth were the guitarists and Aja was on vox. I love Kirsten on vox. Amazing powerful voice - great Bruce Chickinson! Fucking kick ass song selection too! Deja Vu was SICK! On the gig... The ladies and their performance was GREAT as usual, but there were major sound issues for Nikki. Nikki's guitar on leads and dual harmony leads was cutting out often... :( The 1st couple songs I thought she was messing up and making mistakes. Not the case at all. Her guitar was simply cutting out. It must have been fine through the monitors, but the mains had the issue. I don't know if they could tell or not, but the FOH sound guy should've heard that. All my friends could tell. With that, I had a great time and was very entertained. I was bummed that Nita wasn't there, but Nikki was a GREAT substitute for sure. Courtney blew my mind in EVERY way too! I hope the next Sacto gig will be sooner that 5 years from now. Thanks for warming me up for the BOYS this Saturday!

Deja-Vu & Purgatory were my favorite from that night...The Maidens always rock! Come back to Nor Cal more often!
