This makes the RIAA look like a generous outfit

Now the way I read it, is that if a company does not have a legal contract to sell in the UK then the CD's are illegally imported.

That means if the Ironmaidens company does not pay the UK tax and or import duty they could be stung for a stupid amount of money.


In the UK the Albums would be priced at around £16.99

Double that to get US dollars, would you pay $32 for a CD?

This pisses me off cos cd's are stupidly priced - especially in places like Virgin where chart cd's are between £11.99 and £13.99. I'm surprised Play.com didn't get hit too(it mentions them tho) cos it's based in Jersey and doesn't pay tax or something.

And when it is "pesos" it becames a little more expensive the normal Iron Maiden records are like .... 280 pesos = 28 dollars so it is normal.
