i need to shred the place up.. any last quick tips to make that kick sound fukin brutal with a mic? probs will be a d112

guitar amp can pretty much cater for them selfs.. i'll mic them but keep them low in mix.

bass i'm gonna DI hopefully.

just asking.. coz its a pretty well known place and many of you may have worked there before....

HELP!!!

consentrate on the kick!!!

cheers!

mental, i recorded 1000 sins,
and live in woking.
not to mention ive played the peel more times than i care to remember!

i went to the sounds of the underground tour last week, and it looked like they used a D112 for every band that played

i would personally stick with the proven methods of boosting around 80hz, cutting anywhere between 200-400 as needed, and putting a boost(i prefer a high shelf to parametric) between 4-6k

in addition, cross your fingers and hope the drummer has fairly fresh heads and a well-tuned drum, because that's going to matter more than anything else

kewl well that was my plan really any ways... was wondering if there are any other reall secrets..

as for colonal kurts...

fancy cumin down on that night.. we cud both mix it.

hehe gonna shred it up!

top tip for playing at the peel.
if you dont like the other bands,
go round the back for cheap strippers.
