Lasers Edge signs Swedens Black Bonzo
Ken Golden, Director of Operations of Lasers Edge Group, announces the addition of Swedish Progressive Rock band Black Bonzo to the Lasers Edge label.
The Lasers Edge will release Sound of the Apocalypse, the bands sophomore recording, on June 26,2007.
Black Bonzo was formed in 2003 from the ashes of the 8-piece psychedelic rock group Gypsy Sons Of Magic. The band received critical acclaim in the European music press for its debut recording Lady of the Light.
Its more adventurous, original and mysterious then you ever can imagine! says new bass player Anthon Johansson about the upcoming release. Black Bonzo members include Johansson on Bass, Magnus Lindgren on Vocals, Mikael Israelsson on Drums, Joakim Karlsson on Guitars and Nicklas Åhlund on Keyboards.
Sound of the Apocalypse was mixed at Tonteknik by Magnus Lindberg, at the same mixing console used for Pink Floyds Animals.
