If you haven't seen this movie yet, DO IT! Before somebody ruins the ending for you. IMO, it was the best last few minutes of a movie that I have seen in a very long time, maybe ever.

Meh, the movie was OK at best. The "new" ending was much, much better than the book.
King isn't all that great and the movie versions of his books are normally lame, with a few exceptions.
I don't want to start ripping on the man or the movie but there are some HUGE lapses in logic during the Mist.

I can't wait to see this damn movie! We always wait for DVD so it will be a bit. Maybe I might see this one at the movies this time. (It's always better on the big screen anyhow)

I'm with you Masie, that ending is haunting me, for me the monsters were not half as scary as some of the people. A group of women coming out of the movie were just fucking disgusted with the ending and voicing their displeasure very loudly, I just turned to them and said "Well Merry Fucking Christmas Ladies", they didn't laugh but I did
