and now: A Predictable Tale of Predilection
An IT guy in our group is going to the Lord of the Rings marathon on Wed to see all 3 movies (extended versions) in the theater. That's roughly 10 hours of Ringage. He's taking off a vacation day, but not dressing in LOTR garb because "that would be too much." His wife, somehow, is actually geekier about it than he is.


Where I falter: this Marathon actually sounds interesting to me. Especially since the theater serves beer.

I simply cannot watch 10 hrs of movies in a row, though I am tempted for this event. maybe a three day event will be scheduled at some point in the future at home, where I can take bathroom breaks and not miss anything.
