Wow, this album scares the shit out of me, and I absolutely love it. They're continuing to move in a more industrial/ambient direction. Cool album.

Crapping your pants isn't entirely out of the question. It's one scary beast--plenty of punch too. Definitely worthwhile.

"While listening to this album, I could not help but think of the scene in the movie "A Clockwork Orange" were the main character is subjected to scenes of "ultra-violence" over and over again with his eyes forced to stay open in attempt to cure him of the same impulses generating from within himself. What an eerie and effectively disturbing scene that was. Well expand the atmosphere in that scene to around 45 minutes and you have The Ichneumon Method."

Of course you did omit the part where I was basically just describing the atmosphere of the album. Once you get to the music.......... er........

But if we're just reviewing atmosphere here? 9/10

Yeah, definitely they are getting more towards the ambient realm with this new one.... it's good, but it'll take a bit for this one to sink in... admittedly...
