Not only is it on a school night (which means I probably can't go), but the venue, Webster Hall, is 18+. How gay.

Goddamnit! what is the point to this 18+ crap?
It's all a matter of perspective. Personally, I wish all shows were 21+. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for anyone who misses out on an opportunity to see a band they love. By the same token, it sucks for those of us over 21 for two reasons:

1. You're movement is restricted, because you can't take your drink to certain areas of the club.
2. You're stuck hanging out with folks under 21. Obviously, this is a generalized statement. I'm sure there are some younger folks that are quite mature for their age. That said, people under 21 tend to act under 21. Hell, plenty of people over 21 act under 21.
