THE NIGHTMARE STAGE SIGN WORLDWIDE DEAL WITH PURE STEEL RECORDS

Join us as we are excited to announce THE NIGHTMARE STAGE have signed a world-wide deal with Pure Steel Records to release their new album!

The Nightmare Stage is a Prog/Power Metal band based out of Long Island, New York. Their soon to be released sophomore CD, entitled, "When The Curtain Closes," offers a unique brand of sonic textures that are sure to captivate any fan of heavy music and we here at Pure Steel are proud to be the ones to bring it to the world. The album will take the listener on a journey, as each track combines various dynamic levels and tempos with complex harmonic structures.

The band began from a combination of groups that include Reverence, Cities, Immortally Committed, who were a mainstay in the local Long Island Metal scene in the mid to late 1990s and Live after Death, the exceptionally well-regarded Iron Maiden tribute band.

Regarding the amazing turn of events the band issued the following statement:
"We are excited to announce our partnership with this badass label! The Nightmare Stage is primed to forge some Pure Steel with the 2019 release of our long-awaited sophomore album 'When the Curtain Closes'".

The release date of the of the new album „When The Curtain Closes“ by the US Prog/Power Metal Band THE NIGHTMARE STAGE on CD is April 26th, 2019. The pre-order phase will start on April 12th, 2019 in our webshop.

New York's THE NIGHTMARE STAGE are new to the Pure Steel catalog, but already released an independent debut album called "Free Admission For The Damned" in 2010.

"When The Curtain Closes" is the second work of the US-Americans, who inspire with a successful mix of Progressive and US Metal. Rich keyboard parts meet sophisticated guitar riffs and the distinctive voice of ex-Inner Strength vocalist Scott Oliva. THE NIGHTMARE STAGE, built up from the ashes of Immortally Committed, also present theatrical prog elements as well as simply-straight Metal riffs. The bombastic production also makes fans of the middle Queensryche phase, Fates Warning (Ray Alder era) and early Dream Theater listen up.
