Hmm, so Gothenburg melodeath melodies are going to be incorperated. This is quite interesting.
I'm no fan of melodeath typically, but this is quite good sounding.

Way heavier sounding then I had though it would be, which was really great. Sound is pretty good, really anxious to get the whole album. Art work was very interesting too. This release seems very promising!

Well other than the possible Edge of Sanity influence there (considering we are big fans of Dan and he did mix the disc) I don't think there was consciously any real "Gothenburg" influences on our part. I like alot of '70s and '80s twin guitar metal and brought it more to the surface with this particular track. I really hope we don't start hearing people claiming we're jumping on some stupid In Flames/Haunted bandwagon because that very truly is NOT the case!

That's cool. I hate to admit I'm not entirely familiar with Amon Amarth's stuff just what little I've heard in the past. My girlfriend listens to them, I don't really, go figure LOL
