So mastodon put out a track. I must say i'm not sure if i dislike the vocals or not yet. The keyboard player is unnoticeable.

New Lamb of God. So far it sounds inbetween their last two albums which is good. Because sacrament sucked and the one before it is good. There are blast beats. I hate to say it because i hold blast beats so dear to my soul, but they're becoming cliche. If i hear Blast Beats on the next lil wayne cd i'm gonna be pissed. even the new kylesa song has blast beats, but its cool in their case because they have two drummers.

Obscura put out an album.

Who the fuck is obscura? oh, its Necrophagist without Muhammed because he kicks out band members every album. So far its like Necrophagist with shittier song writing. On the other hand they're all incredible musicians, especially Hannes Grossmannnnnnnnnn

But since commentary was posted on the first thread, I'll say that the new Obscura took me by surprise. I expected to like it, but not have it stick in my head. Probably the best of the year so far for me.
