The Royal George RIP!

Went to see Hughes/Turner Project last night at the LA2. For those of you who go to gigs at the Astoria, LA2 and borderline and pop in to the Royal George for a beer and a heavy metal fix, think again! We popped into the RG expecting loud metal music and fellow headbangers, only to be confronted by suits sitting in a yuppy bar! The RG has sold out, it is heavy metal no longer!

Hughes/Turner were pretty good by the way, well worth going to see.

Did Joe have a face-full of makeup?

At Dudley I must say that he looked very feminine - and peculiar! and what with kissing Glenn on stage - very odd behaviour.

Still - had to witness BURN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! once again, and Mistreated and Stormbringer what a show!!

I was standing at the back so didn't notice if Joe had a face full of make up on. But he did look like a very nice boy though!

Yeah they done Stormbringer, Mistreated and Burn at LA2 too, and they were all excellent.

Tomorrow it is Dio, with those lovely Saxon tribute boys! Can't wait!

went into the george pub before Dio to discover no bitter or newcastle brown-just lager.........

and if you looked at the decor.......well i think its more of a gay bar now-no problem with that but i just think i'll be using a different pub now where i'll at least like the beer.........
