I finally got around to picking this up today. I don't think I've seen it in at least 5 years, maybe more, other than bits and pieces anyway.

Lordy, the remix is awesome! Great big, fat bass...full sound. It's really fantastic.

I was also reminded how much I like this movie. I'm sure some find it cheesey, but I don't. It's the apex (in ways) of 70s rock hugeness, and most definitely captures the mystique of Zep at their height. Everything from the Hermit on the hill to the long drawn out versions of the songs. I'd say No Quarter is the definitive version, and Jimmy Page is just on fire throughout. Sure, he's sloppy, but he always is.

Zep Rules.

Anyway, great remix job, and great to see this movie/concert again!

I forgot to mention the extras, which are a nice bonus; Celebration Day and Over the Hills and Far Away (Plus a couple songs that aren't on the movie, but already appeared on the previous, awesome Zep DVD). Plus there are some newsreel things, short interviews and whatnot. Very cool.

Although I've yet to pick up the DVD, I've always loved the movie. As Wyz stated, it truly does capture the "bigness" of 70s rock, especially of LZ, the biggest, greatest band in the land!

Yes, a huge factor is present, but it's forgivable!!

The remixed sound is massive....I'd love to see their entire back catalogue remixed.
