Supergroups usually don't work,(just like the link in the OP, at least for me ) so it's no surpirse that this thread has become dysfunctional so quickly. Acknowledged talent in whichever field tends to inflate a person's ego. Take the most talented musicians you can think of and put them all in one band, and it will probably collapse under the collective weight of the musicians' massive egos.
Take Death, for example. The band's lineup changed with each album. Apparently, Chuck Schuldiner was not an easy person to work with.
