The Supergroup

This idea is so overdone...but I enjoyed reading his intro to it. :lol: Why can't someone here be that creative?

Hell, what the fuck:

Vocals: Mikael Akerfeldt
Vocals/Guitars: Chuck Schuldiner
Bass: Tony Choy (Atheist)
Keyboards: Janne Warman (Children of Bodom)
Violin: Maarten Post (Phlebotomized)
Drums: Inferno (Behemoth)

Or something like that.

Erm... this is not the "Post your idyllic supergroup here" thread, this is have a say on the supergroup in which he linked in the first post.

Well I would hate that band aswell as all of the bands it's created from so I'm leaving here.

If that's because I dislike Opeth, Pantera, Dream Theater etc. then I take it as a compliment. Call me "bitter little bitch" from now on.

You're so fucking positive aren't you? I'm alright don't worry.

:Smokin::kickass:

you gotta admit this thread isn't gonna go anywhere anyways so we may as well just turn it into a hate opeth thread

goddamn they are fucking gay

Supergroups usually don't work,(just like the link in the OP, at least for me :p) so it's no surpirse that this thread has become dysfunctional so quickly. Acknowledged talent in whichever field tends to inflate a person's ego. Take the most talented musicians you can think of and put them all in one band, and it will probably collapse under the collective weight of the musicians' massive egos.
Take Death, for example. The band's lineup changed with each album. Apparently, Chuck Schuldiner was not an easy person to work with.
