the tickets on israel are sold out

yes
all the 1000 tickets to the show were sold out!!
but, on israel have a lot of people that they didnt buy a tickets..

can be more show on 2 april

I guess not many bands visit Israel and therefore when a band like Opeth finally decides to visit them alot of people want to go to the concert. Am i right?

Yeah, as it turns out there's a huge metal scene in Israel considering the size of the country (some 7 million people, yet www.metalisrael.com). I'm surprised it didn't sell out earlier. There's a ton of quality metal bands in Israel, yet none are well known at all besides Orphaned Land. I wonder why no record labels recruit there.

we have big metal scene on israel... and many bands afarid to come to israel.. you know.. the palastines are hate us and bomb us.. but now the situation is good... i hope that opeth is not the last band that will come to here..

our bands as known on the world: orphaned land(they are the first israeli band on wacken.. they will show on waken this year :) ), salem and betzefer(school in english)..

i hope that bands will come to here.. we have big scene here!!

but then again, Sweden has only 9 million :Smug:

Really...surprising. Well, there's also the fact that in Israel there's a huge gap between poor and rich, and there is of course a sizeable population of Ultra-Orthodox Jews, so the real population would probably be a lot smaller in gauging how big a metal scene they should have logically. Whereas Sweden, last I checked, every motherfucker is very rich.

Don't forget the Danes:grin: we have more money than the Swedes:tickled:

The Norwegians are the richest however:erk:

I wasn't surprised at all to see how fast the tickets were sold out. The metal scene here is huge, if you take into account the number of people here. The good thing about this country is that since it's so small, everyone can get to every show, since it's at most 3 hour drive.

As some people mentioned, we have excellant bands here too, aside from the notorious Orphaned Land. The band Betzefer are signed at Roadrunner, and Eternal Gray have their on forum here at ultimate-metal. And there are tons more bands that range from black (Arafael) to death (Eternal Gray), hardcore (Betzefer, Lehavoth) to power (DamnNation). And of course, for each band that I mentioned, there are tens more that I haven't.

Them Swedes have it all, huh? Money and metal.... bastards!
