Someone just posted a thread offering his remix of our first track. That reminded me to post our seemingly last demos on here. Neither of them is complete and nobody ever bothered to put bass on them

songs:

This is Rebirth

Your Nightmare Lullaby

And I expect some bitter reactions on the melodic singing, heheh, but keep in mind I was just then learning how to sing harmonies then, so I consider those efforts amateur. :p Anyway, don't be afraid to let me know what ya think of the music and production! They would otherwise collect digital dust and nobody would have heard them anyway :p

And I don't know the future of the band but it doesn't concern me much anymore. Gotta lot of other projects going on now :)

Nah, dude, the singing is excellent to my ears. I really dig the songs writing-wise, but the mix on This is rebirth sounds a bit muddy in the low register. I still find myself listening to the Meridian hour, that's probably on of the best songs I've heard on this forum.

Very cool songs and the clean vocals are very nice! Production wise I can´t really tell because I´m just listening on my small pc speakers but it seems that the bass drum is lacking some kind of kick because I can hardly hear it on these speakers...

BTW, I am currently searching for a singer/shouter for my project. I really like your voice. Maybe you are interested?

Here is one of the 5 songs we recorded.

The core - They know better

and without vocals

If someone is interested I made another thread here.

I don't like the clean singing parts but that's just a matter of taste. Technically your singing sounds good to me.

The rest (well... mainly verses) sounds good to me. About the production it's good but as somebody already said the low end is a bit muddy/undefined. I don't know if there is any bass in there (i don't hear any at least) but it seems the guitar have too much low end.
