on the subject of another movie for this year, the director of the aliens vs. predator movie was on howard stern this morning and the way he talked about it made it sound like the predators in this movie will make the predators in the first two movies look like wimps. i still think the movie will suck but maybe just maybe it will be good.

probably. here is the basic premise:

the predators have captured an alien queen and are using her spawn for hunting practice.

somehow things get out of hand, somehow some humans(including lance hendrickson playing the human creator of the Bishop cyborg) get caught in between and wackiness ensues.

i ought to point out that amplifying the human dimension and minimzing the alien/pred dimension would be a very Hollywood mistake.

like remember how they sort of allied with jason in JASON VERSUS FREDDY? but the filmmakers there did have Jason wantonly murder the kids he was "allied" with, anyway.
