The Village....

yeah..the beginning sucked, so after that I knew it was all downhill.
I thought it would be more scarier..but I guess not.
The only parts that got to me were when that thing passed underground and when he was in the town about to go in the house...haha

but when I found out it was just a fake..it ruined it for me..

and me and my friends were all looking forward to this movie. haha. oh well.

*whew* Glad I didn't run out and see it. Reviews for it are terrible. I had looked forward to this film for a long time.
I was really looking forward too. But the reviews were just so bad. Glad I saved my money.

So what is the crap twist in the end anyways?

THE TWIST IS:

SPOILER obviously:
**************************************************
The village turns out to be some sort of experiment that is kept secluded from the modern world. The "creatures" are the elders, leaders, of the village dressed up in creature costumes to keep the people from leaving the village and finding the real world.

The movie fucking freaked me out until the twist. Don't tell me that part in the forest when it ran at her didn't scare the ass off you :)

:) ..I mean she was blind...

but I was basically confused the whole time.
how did the kid die in the beginning?
oh yeah..and.. when her dad showed her the creature thing in the shed.. that was a dream right?
I knew I should've seen harold and kumar instead. :erk:

I will see it no matter what everyone says coz most people have bad taste :D
If I had listened to anyone then I wouldn't have seen I ' robot and thought it was awesome.

That's exactly what I said. There really wasn't much of Shyamilan's typical suspense, and I predicted the ending 20 minutes into the movie.

Okay, i don't remember how his kid died in the beginning but i think it was just disease or something.

The part with her dad showing her the creature costume was a flashback to just before she left.

I recently seen it and it was not too bad. Of course the surprise ending was not so much of a surprise, I guessed it about half way through.

My favourit part is where the girl (forgot her name) keeps slapping that guys face after he stabs her boyfriend.

I didn't see it, but people I knew who saw it hated it.

All that little red riding hood/monster mythology twisted up... and all those guys liking the blind girl. Was it cause their ugly?

I think it's time for M. Night to try something different. Just do a straightfoward movie and try not to have any of these dumb twists or "surprise" endings.
Suspense/Thriller movies with predictable endings are utterly bland...
