i read an interview townshend did with a belgian newspaper about the matter. he had children porn because of a research he was doing about his past (he believes he has been abused). he never has himself harmed a kid physically. he knows he was wrong - paying a website to watch a children pornsite, (which was a police trick to get the addresses of people who look for these kind of things). ...

tommy reminds me of being 15, sitting on pillows in a darkened room smelling like rose insence and my niece smoking her first joint.

I bought Tommy from Scene Of The Crime and felt a bit weird cause of the way the sides were arranged. Side 1 backed Side 3, and 2 was with 4. I hated this, and hated the artwork too cause it wasnt the massive picture of Daltreys face. I sold it. Thinking back though there were some alright bits in it. A bit like an early bluprint for 'The Wall' (recurring themes / Double Concept Album / Anguish)
