I'm afraid they seem to sum up the bland direction the indie scene has headed into at the moment.No thankyou,not one of the better bands that are signed to RoadRunner imo.

An odd signing for Roadrunner, but.. Not that odd in a way.
I agree with Kristopher. just stagnating the 'indie scene'. Really lame and gimmicky band.

Bloc Party or Foals are far better.

Yeah, it's been like that for a few years. I really hate it. Only a handful of bands don't suck like Biffy Clyro (Puzzle is brilliant) Bloc Party (haven't heard a full album, but I like what they've released to MTV2) and Death Cab For Cutie (if they count at all). The rest are like "Well, there were these bands called The Smiths, The Cure and Joy Division and they were cool 20 years ago - lets play music exactly like theirs just a lot shittier!!!"
The fact that Arctic Monkeys are so successful actually astounds me.

There's a band called The Hoosiers, all their songs just sound like piss poor variations of 'Lovecats'.
