Hey dudes.. just spent the last 3 days straight setting up and recording a track for you guys with my band, I'm gonna bring it to the gig on a CD..
What's the best way to get it to ya? Is there a sound guy I can get it to?
Also... my band is looking for a singer! I'll have the song on me to show to people if your interested..
But we need a singer really badly.. it's the only thing stopping us doing anything.
We have a website lined up, I do all the graphics design myself (I'll post a pic)
We're called Sijkmotiv£ (Syke-Motive) and are basically a heavy groove metal band which has elements of Haji's Kitchen, Pantera, Slayer, Lamb of God etc in it..
We do need someone who can scream (like Lamb of God, Pantera, Machine Head, Slipknot, Arch Enemy, Opeth, just metal.. none of this stupid scene kid crap).
A person who can sing would be desired... however if they can scream well then I could sing cleaner sections if need be.
You've gotta have balls... sound like you mean what you sing, be aggressive but also be able to sing notes (Like Phil anselmo, Rob Flynn, Metallica, Testament etc)
I could also post a sample up here.. it's all copywrited etc
We practice at my home near Gloucester (full studio setup -minus audio interfece which Im buying this week), converted garage, P.A to practise through too!).
