Just a snippet of Misery's Crown as they were going to a break but hey it was pretty cool and better than nothing.

Kind of a shock....just don't expect to hear them on something like that.

Don't expect to hear anything modern on that show anymore let alone a metal band from Sweden. Howard is full mid-life crisis/grumpy old man mode and fixated entirely on the Beatles and Billy Joel and the old stuff he grew up with now.

I kind of wonder if show staffer and former "Death" drummer Richard Christy had anything to do with DT being used? I think he's used Tiamat before on a bit he did.

I always wish they would've play just a little more of a song and maybe some people(in Stern's still pretty decent sized audience) would hear DT and wonder who it is and go research and they'd get just a little more notoriety in the US.

I've found about half of the bands I like by accident in that way.

That's interesting. I always love when I hear snippets of songs that I like in strange places. I'm sure a lot of people remember several years ago when Dimmu Borgir was featured in the trailer for Hellboy. That blew my 16-year-old mind. :tickled:
