THe John Sykes lineup was my favorite! Songs like Cold Sweat the entire Thunder and Lightning album was the shit.



I am a HUGE Sykes fan! The man is a riff machine!

Lynott is one of the best front men in metal EVER!

i saw a movie scene with john holmes some time ago and he reminded me on Phil Lynott.....

seriously though....i think there are very very few people who could express so much emotion (without being able to really sing).

Fuckin a' Thin Lizzy were the shit. Gorham and Robertson were magicians on the six string as well, I actually prefer Robbo to Sykes, even though technically speaking Sykes leaves him in the dirt.

Funny how Iron Maiden took that patent and ran with it. Not taking away anything from Maiden, I love their pre-Blaze stuff to death, but Thin Lizzy did it first.
