1. I didn't know ESP guitar had advertisements on TV. Showing various metal/metalcore bands that rock their brand name.

2. The new Opeth video was very abridged and was that Gene Hoglan on drums?(this is probably old news).

3. The new Cephalic Carnage video is damn good and funny at the end. Up the horns to them.

4. I got tired of watching some eight-od or more cookie-cutter metalcore, screamo, pseudo-metal bands dressed up in girls pants and their hair all did up.

That is all. :headbang:

I'm surprised no one responded to this. After all, it's John Zorn! Or is it?

I've been noticing this also on HBB. Every other band has a cool, fashionable haircut and wears black button up shirts with ties looking like models out of a fashion mag and sound very much like Pantera with a hardcore edge. Don't get me wrong, I like most of them but I don't know, it seems that a bit more of a variety would be...refreshing.
I guess that's the norm now for bands and labels.
Whatever, it could be worse.

The ESP guitar ads are new. My friends from Devildriver were recently celebrating the first-ever ESP TV ads with the ESP folks...

I'n 99% sure that is Hoglan in the video (they try to hide him as much as possible), but I think Opeth intend to continue with Martin Lopez once he overcomes his "health issues."
