Think About An End

Their singer is fucking HORRIBLE. I can't stand him!
He sounds like Rosie Perez having a fit.

lol just cuz they use the words 'killing in the name of' and 'rage against the machine' doesnt mean it refers in any way to RATM

John and Scott also wrote the lyric "blind faith," but somehow I don't see them forming a Supergroup with Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood.

HAHA, sadly, most of the kids on here have NO IDEA who Blind Faith is. Back to the song, that riff sounds waaaayyyy similar to RATM anyone who doesn't cop to it is in denial "No way Anthrax would write a riff like RATM!!" Bullshit - every member of Anthrax has praised RATM at one time or another. That riff is RATM thru and thru.

I've heard Scott praise RATM, and I do admit there are parallels in the main riff... but the Anthrax version is HUGE... After John goes "hmmm" in the intro, its like a Mack Truck falling off a cliff into a pool of nitroglycerine... BOOM!!

i didn't write it sounds like RATM, i just wrote it reminds me of RATM.

Scott once said that RATM were the hardest rocking thing in a long time.
i'm not a fan of RATM or anything but the riff after John sings "hmmm" is very close to RATM. Just listen to RATM's "Bulls On Parade".

Anyway, "Think About An End" is a great song.

Peace!

Before the full band comes in, the guitars sound like sep to me. In RATM's Bulls, Tom plays octaves of the same note and then cuts into a riff throughout the verses. Where as in Think, Scott doesn't play octaves of the same note and then cuts into power chord during the verses.
