third day of real teaching tomorrow and i've lost my voice

prob the worst case of laryngitis i've ever had. i dunno if it's from talking for eight hours solid the past two days but i think it's some kind of bug--i have a sore throat, mild fever, etc. also.

argh i can't take time off either!

EW throat coat tea is so gross. It is definitely NOT good for what ails me.

i wish i had throat coat right now. but trader joe's didn't have any.

i got some slippery elm/black cherry (?) tea at whole foods called "throat comfort" which was probably almost identical to throat coat and it's the only thing that saved me during that week i had the worst sore throat ever told a couple of years ago.
