On this date in 1947, a seagull flew over Fenway Park and dropped a three-pound smelt on St. Louis Browns pitcher Ellis Kinder. Nevertheless, Kinder beat Boston 4-2.

I know, not really on-topic, but I thought it was funny....

PS. When is the next Washington State tour? Come up and play for us waterlogged, latte drinking, tree hugging (yet SUV driving) Northwesterners, Maidens!

Except early Aug. is when Metallica invades Seahawks stadium and sucks the life out of the clubs. Labor Day would be much better i.e Labor Day Inferno in Tacoma... :hotjump:
