This fx in latest Mnemic album??

I´d like to know how the vocals are recorded/mixed in these songs: First verses

That low voice...sure it has compression and reverb but...what else???
Also I read in this forum that Tue Madsen recorded Passenger album with a Superlux copy of a Neumann.....any idea??

Te refieres a las voces graves? El efecto que tienen me recuerdan un poco a un efecto que hay en el Waves Metaflanger... Y a eso añádele un expansor de campo estéreo.

Mmmm, voy a mirar lo del metaflanger, pero lo del expansor, me atreveria a decir que la voz esta grabada en dos tomas para L y R....

also just sounds very tightly doubled (on the 2nd tune at 2:33) with a bit of distortion on the doubled part

Superlux CM-H8G....It's a tube condenser mic..cheap but very good. I have it too. But Passenger was recorded in USA without Tue Madsen, that only mixed that album. He recorded the first 2 album and the last one.
The last one was recorded with a Neumann TLM 103 (Guillaume's mic).

Thanks!!!! I just talked to Guillaume last week via myspace...he´s a very normal/nice guy, not a shitty star like others....he told me that vocals on last 2 albums were his TLM 103 thru DBX 160SL thru Mindprint DTC, a tube preamp...
What a unaffordable gear! I´m afraid, a TL Audio PA1 is the ony thing I can afford....
