Hi,

Finished this preliminary mix of my project's (Suffer the Consequence) latest song, "This is the Way".

Could really use some feedback before I wrap this up!

Adjusted (lowered) the levels of the choirs a bit and put the track up on bandcamp. If anyone feels inclined to critique, please feel free.

The drums sound pretty raw but that's definitely more of a taste and aesthethic thing, it isn't necessarily holding the mix back. However, the main problem holding the mix back in my opinion is the way too dark and muddy guitar tone. The playing could tighter and cleaner as well (or more edited).

Thanks for commenting - Next time its back to the real 5150 (and to rehearsing as hell before tracking) to give me a better starting point for the mix!
